Phase 12 - Curriculum for the Study of Energies: An Unordered List

Energies: Everything in existence is held together and functions through the use of energies. From the tiniest atoms to huge galaxies everything runs on energies. Even our feelings and thoughts require energy. Ordinary science hardly makes any study of energies beyond the levels of heat, and the polar energies of electricity, magnetism, and kinetic forces. And yet without understanding different levels of energies and how they work, it's almost impossible to understand what happens in the world, and more importantly, what happens in us.

Working from indications provided by G. I. Gurdjieff, John G. Bennett formulated a 12 level scheme of energies which include the energies which science normally studies, but includes much higher levels of organizing energies that extend into the regions of biology, psychology, consciousness, creativity and beyond. This scheme of energies (shown below) provide a means for understanding and answering many questions about personal and spiritual development that would be difficult or impossible to approach through purely functional descriptions.

It is with this in mind that we once again undertake the study of energies.

Listed below is an unordered, first approximation for a curriculum aimed at understanding energies...
